Here are the comments of Aiko Melendez obtained from the Facebook page of the actress:
“Hindi ko man nagugustuhan ang mga gawain ni Mocha lately, i dont hate her naman but ung pag resign nya is something na [I] should commend her for… Makakaganda na yan sa imahe ng ating pangulo.”
“Pero.. nagiisip dn ako dba kapag filing of candidacy dyan din pwede magresign ang mga aspirants to run for a government post? Teka sana naman Mocha resign dahil maganda intentions mo.”
“One class act would be is to resign, be humble and admit all the humiliation You caused our Government. Apologize to the PWD for mocking them. Then if that happens maybe [I] can reconsider and have you in my list for senator.”
“Having 5m followers in Facebook doesn’t give you a license to run for public office. Otherwise ang dami na naten sa FB ang elected officials now. Di naman bumoboto ang lahat sa Facebook. So don’t make that as a basis to run for any position.”
“Dear asec Mocha, Patience is power. Patience is not an absence of action; rather it is “timing” it waits on the right time to act, for the right principles and in the right way. Love and Peace, Aiko Melendez.”
