Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia revealed in a recent interview that fame taught him the hard way.
Joshua had a humble beginning in showbiz. He came from the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother. This opened the doors to opportunities for him.
Now, the actor has reached his 12 years in the entertainment industry, and his journey has taught him, career-wise and personally.
In a recent interview, based on the article in Pilipino Star Ngayon, the Kapamilya actor admitted that being famous caught him.
“Fame taught me the hard way… Hindi lahat ng nasa paligid mo ay nandiyan para sa ‘yo. Yeah. So that’s why I’m protecting my peace. ‘Yun mga tao nagpapahalaga sa akin nang totoo,” Joshua Garcia shared.
He said that right now, his priority is his peace of mind in the midst of the chaotic world of show business.
Over the years, Joshua said that he has learned what aspects of his life he should keep private and which are the things he could share.
From PBB, his life has been an open book, but right now, he is working on keeping things private.
“Mahirap magkaroon ng boundaries sa work namin eh. Hindi mo rin mapipigilan ang mga tao,” paliwanag niya tungkol dito,” he said.
On the other hand, the actor said that he has accepted how the industry works, and he had to somehow love what is happening around him, because this is his job.
When it comes to his work, Joshua Garcia said that he always wanted to be challenged, just like his recent project, the Kapamilya series Love Is Never Gone, with his leading lady Ivana Alawi, in which he had to do action scenes. He said that this is something new for him. In his past projects, the actor focused on the drama genre.
