Erik Matti resigned as the director of the Darna movie of Liza Soberano because of this reason

Prominent filmmaker Erik Matti resigns as the director of the upcoming Darna movie of Liza Soberano.

The said movie has already created much anticipation from the fans of Liza as well as to the fans of the iconic Pinay hero.

Previously, Direk Erik went controversial when his past tweet against those who voted for President Rodrigo Duterte was spotted.

Because of that he received criticisms from DDS and they campaigned to boycott the said movie.

Darna has been anticipated last year but until now there is no certainty yet when it will be released.

Apparently, a major problem occurred which caused its delay. Based on the article published in Bandera, Erik Matti resigned as the director of Liza Soberano‘s superhero movie.

It was said that the reason for this is that the director did not like the fact that there were some people in the production team who were trying to alter the script.

According to the report, he has spent five years in perfecting the script but in just an instance it will be changed.

Before, there had been rumors that he already resigned as the director of the said movie. However, now, it is no fake news. This is for real, Erik Matti resigned as Darna director.

Here is his tweet that said about his predicament regarding the movie.

Due to this, a fan of Liza Soberano asked if he is referring the phrase “people with no passion” to the Kapamilya actress.
