DLSU Joins UP In THE World University Rankings

For the first time, the De La Salle University (DLSU) has joint the University of the Philippines (UP) in the Time Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings.

The list of top 1,000 universities in the world has been already released by the Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2019.

DLSU is now on the 801-1000 bracket while 501-600 bracket while UP ranked up to the 501-600 bracket this year.

The Times Higher Education based the ranking on 13 performance indicators such as teaching, research, citations, industry income, and international outlook.

The top spot was obtained by the University of Oxford remaining as the number one university on its third year.

Meanwhile, the University of Cambridge obtained the second spot again followed by Stanford University on the third spot.

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology got the fourth spot and California Institute of Technology ranked fifth.
