Mariana Islands Recently Jolted By Earthquake
EARTHQUAKE – The United States Geological Survey (USGS) tracked that an quake recently jolted Mariana Islands.
Lately, lots of reports about earthquakes jolting the different parts of the world crossed the surface. Based on a social media post on the Twitter account of Radyo Inquirer, a quake recently hit Mariana Islands.
The USGS tracked the quake with a magnitude of 6.4. It hit the area at 06:35 in the morning in Philippine Standard Time. It was located at 16.8 degrees North, 147.1 degrees East. It has a depth of 51 kilometers.
In line with it, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) took to its social media account a bulletin. The agency stated in it that there is no tsunami threat.
