Breaking News: NAIA Runway 06/24 Now Open After More Than 24-Hour Closure

NAIA Runway Reopened

NAIA RUNWAY – The main runway of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) was recently reopened.

Beginning yesterday, several flights in NAIA were cancelled. The flight cancellations were effects of the closure of the main runway of the airport.

Based on a report, it was closed after a Chinese passenger plane, Xiamen Air flight MF 8667, went off the runway. The bad weather reportedly has something to do with the incident.

Fortunately, the 157 passengers and 8 crews boarding the plane are all safe. The NAIA runway was closed for the operations in line with the removal of the plane.
