List of Cancelled Flights Today, August 18

CANCELLED FLIGHTS – Due to the closure of the main runway of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), several flights are affected.

More than twenty-five flights were affected yesterday, August 17, because of the closure of NAIA’s main runway. Based on a report, the closure of the runway followed a Chinese passenger plane’s hard landing.

Due to the bad weather, the Xiamen Air flight MF 8667 went off the runway. It was boarded by 157 passengers and 8 crews. Everyone is safe.

The opening of the runway was scheduled yesterday at 4:00 in the afternoon. However, it was moved to 7:00 in the evening until it was moved again.
