House Speaker Gloria Arroyo Wears Neck Brace in Bataan

GLORIA ARROYO – Former Philippine President and now House Speaker Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo was spotted wearing a neck brace in Bataan.

Former Pres. Gloria Arroyo had a medical condition that led to her hospital-arrest before. Based on a report, she was arrested over election fraud.

During those times, she would usually be seen on television wearing a neck brace and sitting in a wheelchair. She suffered from a medical condition called “multilevel cervical spondylosis”.

The family, friends, fans, and supporters of the former President couldn’t resist from worrying about her. On the other side, certain criticisms continued to spark amid all the issues surrounding her term as the national leader.

Currently, former President and now House Speaker Gloria Arroyo uses her neck brace occasionally. Previously, she has shared that she usually wears her neck brace whenever she is riding in a car.

The House Speaker also admitted that she still suffers from pain in her back due to the condition of her spine. She undergoes medication and as well as a therapy for her condition. It was just recently when she became House Speaker and replaced former House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez.

Based on a social media post on the Twitter page of ABS-CBN News Channel via April Rafales, former President and now House Speaker Gloria Arroyo was recently spotted at the Freeport of Bataan and she’s wearing her neck brace when she got out of the car.

Meanwhile, based on the post, the House Speaker removed her neck brace before the meeting.
