Former House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez Admits Being Hurt

ALVAREZ – Davao del Norte Representative Pantaleon Alvarez broke his silence on being ousted as the Speaker of the House of Representatives and replaced by former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Based on a report, an unexpected scenario happened before the delivery of the third State of the Nation Address (SONA) of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte happened at Batasan Pambansa on Sunday.

While Davao del Norte Rep. Pantaleon Alvarez and Senate Pres. Vicente ‘Tito’ Sotto were welcoming Pres. Duterte at the entrance, former Pres. Arroyo was on the rostrum at the Plenary Hall and she has taken her oath as the new House Speaker.
