Netizen Posts Photo Showing Duterte’s Kitchen Seemingly Turned to an Ukay Ukay Store

DUTERTE – A netizen took to the social media a photo showing the Duterte’s Kitchen seemingly turned into an Ukay Ukay store.

Undeniably, one of the pressing problems in the Philippines is poverty and it can go a long way from a family having no food to eat to children not being able to go to school. That is why lots of people were happy when the Duterte’s Kitchen was opened.

Based on a report, it’s not only open for the street kids but as well as for the students who go to school without money in their pockets or food in their bags. It is for the benefit of the people who are experiencing hunger but cannot afford to buy food.

The Duterte’s Kitchen’s also reportedly open for people who are working under the sun the whole day, those families who cannot eat three times daily, the ordinary workers who skip meal to be able to bring home their salary full, and those who are coming to Manila with only enough money for their fare.

Even the people who can afford to buy their own food were happy over the opening of the Duterte’s Kitchen as it comes with the comforting thought that many people would no longer have to sleep hungry.

However, recently, a netizen took to the social media a photo that shows that the kitchen was seemingly turned into an ukay ukay store. The netizen behind the user handle @rex_ballester was the one who posted the photo on Twitter.

One netizen behind the user handle @iamkulasparov stated in a comment that no one will sleep without clothes.
