Cavite Town Vice Mayor Alex Lubigan Killed In An Ambush
BREAKING NEWS – The vice mayor of Trece Martires town in Cavite Alex Lubigan and his driver gunned down Saturday afternoon, July 7.
In a previous article, Tanauan City, Batangas Mayor Antonio Halili was also gunned down during a flag-raising ceremony.
And now, according to a report from the ABS-CBN News, this is the third case of the slaying of a politician for this week.
Trece Martires town in Cavite Vice Mayor Alex Lubigan and his driver got killed in an ambush just outside the Korean-Philippines Hospital in his town past 3:00 p.m as per police chief Supt. Reynan Patam.
The suspect was riding in an SUV which hit the van of the politician along the Trece Martires–Indang Road and shot the vice mayor dead according to Senior Supt. William Segun, Cavite provincial director.
Lubigan died on the spot as per the report.
