Actual Footage of Incident That Took Mayor Antonio Halili’s Life
MAYOR ANTONIO HALILI – An unexpected incident took the life of Tanauan City, Batangas Mayor Antonio Halili, Monday.

Based on a recent report in PhilStar, Mayor Antonio Halili of Tanauan City, Batangas was shot by an unidentified person during the flag-raising ceremony together with the government employees in front of the city hall. He obtained a wound on his chest.
According to Tanauan City Public Information Officer Gerry Laresma, they were about to finish singing the national anthem when the incident happened. Mayor Antonio Halili is one of those who push for the “walk of shame campaign” for those people who are suspected to be using drugs.
Based on the report, the Batangas Police Provincial Office said that Mayor Antonio Halili was declared dead on arrival at CP Reyes Hospital.
The PIO of Tanauan City expressed that Mayor Halili has been receiving threats following his move against drugs in the city. On social media, actual footage of the incident that left the Tanauan City mayor dead caught the attention of the netizens.
Here is one video posted on the Facebook page CIS Media. It could be seen that the incident caused some of those who are attending the flag-raising ceremony to run away from the area.
Here is another video posted on the Facebook page Bombo Radyo Iloilo. This video shows what happened after Mayor Halili fell on the ground. It could be seen that a group of men carried the politician to get him inside a vehicle.
