The mixed martial arts (MMA) superstar Conor McGregor has voluntarily surrendered himself to the New York Police after attacking a UFC bus.

On Thursday (April 05, 2018), the MMA fighter Conor McGregor has been the headlines of international local news outlets and numerous social media pages after attacking a bus carrying UFC fighters in New York.

McGregor picked up an object and threw it on the bus’s window at the Barclays Center in New York, which injured Michael Chiesa who had cuts on his face from the shattered glass.

The New York Police Department had issued an arrest warrant for McGregor and about 20 others who stormed the building.

The 29-year-old Irishman has voluntarily surrendered to the 78th Precinct station but there is still no indication if charges were already filed against him.

The fighter would eventually face criminal mischief and reckless endangerment because of his actions, according to some reports.

Previously, UFC President Dana White said that McGregor’s lightweight title would be stripped off from him and would be given to the winner of Saturday’s fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Max Holloway in New York.
