Elderly Woman Arrested In NAIA Over Illegal Possession Of Firearms
An elderly woman got arrested at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 over illegal possession of firearms.
A 63-year-old woman was arrested by the airport authorities of NAIA Terminal 3 after a gun has been detected inside her belongings while passing the x-ray machine.
The authorities detected the .38 caliber gun when the bag of the senior citizen entered the initial screening checkpoint of the Departure Gate 6.
The old woman has been identified as Grace Castro carrying the firearm without valid documents and license.
According to the reports, Castro is not a passenger but made a scandalous scene at the departure area when the authorities invited her for investigation.
The suspect is currently under the custody of the PNP Aviation Security Group after arrested in the airport.
The firearm recovered by the authorities from the elderly woman contains no ammunition.
