Take a short glimpse at the action king Fernando Poe Jr’s three-storey heritage American home that is located in Quezon City.
Ronald Allan K. Poe or popularly known as Fernando Poe Jr. is a Filipino actor and action star who rose to fame after playing a long career in action films of Philippine cinema.
The action star was also known as the “Da King” for his iconic role in Filipino action movies including “Ang Panday”, “Kahit konting Pagtingin”, “Dito sa Pitong Gatang”, and “Aguila”.
The late actor was married to the actress Susan Roces in a civil wedding in December 1968 and later married in a religious service.
The celebrity couple adopted a daughter Grace Poe who is now a senator and has 3 children; Brian, Hanna, and Nika.
Da King has also a heritage American home in Quezon City, which has also the exteriors of modern houses such as clean lines, simple shapes, single-pane windows, and pristine white walls.
The tradition living area has unexpected touches with a sarimanok painting by National Artist Abdulmari Imao and a pair of Chiquita stools by Kenneth Cobonpue.
A painting of Grace’s daughter in a ballet tutu was placed at the corner of the living area beneath a wooden console table with a golden Buddha.
The heritage house also contains antique furniture pieces and a double L-shaped kitchen, which can accommodate more people.
The house was also filled with artworks amounting less than P30, 000 each. It has also a refreshing lap pool and beautiful landscapes.
