Metro Ayala Mall Fire Might Take 2 Days To Put Out, Cebu Disaster Officials Says
The local disaster officials of Cebu City estimated that the fire that hits Metro Ayala Center might take 2 days to put out.
On Friday evening (January 05, 2017), the Metro Gaisano Ayala Mall in Cebu City was caught by fire during the closing time of the mall.
The witnesses first spotted the fire at the third floor of the building, which allegedly started at the stockroom for toys around 9:30 pm.
The mall personnel and the customers were safely evacuated during the incident, wherein come of them help to put out the blaze.
Luckily, there is no one who was left inside the building based on the initial reports, according to Vice Mayor Edgardo Labella.
Recently, the Cebu City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office said that the firefighters might take 2 days to fully break out the fire, which is currently burning the mall.
Earlier, the local officials have issued a haze alert as smoke coming from the blazing establishment made the roads along Cebu Business Park’s commercial area dangerous to residents.
The firefighters have yet to declare the fire under control over 16 hours since the fire hits the mall.

i loved this mall ,,,,coming from the usa i found this place to be first cl(removed) !! ,,, out door gardens ,, great food and super good stores to shop ,,just a very cl(removed)y place ,,i hope they rebuild it for my next visit ,,,,,sad but glad no one was hurt ,,,,
