Jao Mapa's Life Now After Long Break From Entertainment Industry

This is the life now of Jao Mapa.

JAO MAPA – This is the life now of handsome actor Jao Mapa after his long break from the limelight of the entertainment industry.

Jose Vicente P. Mapa III or more popular on television as Jao Mapa is an actor and also an accomplished painter.

Recalling, his career in the entertainment industry has started in a Pepsi-Cola commercial and being a model during the 1990’s.

He co-hosted television variety shows like Eat Bulaga and ASAP (variety show) and first starred in the movie Pare Ko in 1995.

Aside from being an actor, he was able to finish his studies at the University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Fine arts with a major in advertising.

He was able to appear on numerous films such as Pagpag: Larawang Kupas, Manila’s Finest, Kamandag ni Venus, Sa Ngalan Ng Ama, Ina At Mga Anak, Isang Araw, Guerilla Is A Poet, Tumbok, Pilantik, HIV: Si Heidi, Si Ivy at Si V, Baler, Tunay na mahal, Tugatog, Dahil tanging ikaw, Asero, Maalaala Mo Kaya: The Movie, and among others.

He tied the knot to Cecille with whom he has three kids with namely Benjamin, Caleb, and Amber Marie.

As a painter, some of his renowned masterpieces such as; Pamilya, Basurero, Inuman, Jusinera, Minotour, Umaga, Labandera, and Pista.

In a report, he does not have any regrets about quitting his career from the entertainment industry.

“Hindi ko naman hinahanap ’yung ganu’n (sikat). I’ve been there, done that. I mean, what’s there to look for? I already had my time,” he says.

He’s been also active in using the social media site.
