Joey de Leon Shows Home Full Of Paintings
The Filipino veteran TV host Joey de Leon shows his home that was full of paintings revealing his sophisticated and artistic side.
Joey de Leon is a Filipino comedian, actor, and television host who has been known for his humorous antics after entering the showbiz industry during 1970’s.
Previously, the comedian has been involved in a controversy for past few weeks after releasing a distasteful remarks regarding depression, a mental condition taking thousands of lives yearly.
Eventually, De Leon has apologized to the public and to his co-host Maine Mendoza for underestimating the effects of depression on a person’s life. He also even suspends himself from the noontime show “Eat Bulaga” for his mistakes.
Recently, the 70-year-old TV personality revealed that he was fond of drawings during his younger years proving his passion for arts. He even took up an architecture course at the University of the East, then at the National University.
The comedian has a collection of paintings painted by known Filipino artists including National Artist Ang Kiukok and other artists.
The classically themed house of the “Eat Bulaga” host in Pasig was full of painting collection he created since 80’s.he personally painted, draw, and sketched the paintings including a clown, which signifies his career as a comedian.
He has also a painting collection from another National Artist BenCab and explained that he enjoys artworks, which were changing positions.
“’Yong paintings, lahat ’yan, gumagalaw yan, nagbabago ng posisyon. Therapy ko ’yong pagpapalit. Enjoy na enjoy ako na nagsu-screw, nagpapako, nagpapalinis ng painting,” said by De Leon quoted by Real Living.
