Actress Shy Carlos speak up about her kissing scene with newest box-office star, Empoy Marquez.
The two will star in the upcoming movie entitled The Barker.
Empoy Marquez and Shy first worked together in TV5.
The 22-year-old actress shared that she was happy that the 36-year-old actor stayed the same despite being known now as “Blockbuster King” prior to the box-office success of “Kita Kita.”
The movie Kita Kita which has been named as one of the top-earning movies in the country stars with Alessandra de Rossi.
“Walang pagbabago sa ugali ni Empoy, pareho pa rin siya, at naniniwala ako na Empoy is the new pogi,” Shy Carlos said.
“Sobrang attractive yung isang person na confident at hindi takot na ipakita yung totoong karakter niya. Attractive yun, oo, may attraction kay Empoy,” he added.
Shy Carlos admitted that she was shocked over kissing scenes with Empoy in The Barker.
“Hindi ako kailangan i-convince dahil feeling ko, kini-kiss ko lang si Piolo Pascual. Marami ang kissing scenes namin, marami, pero wala akong preparations,” he said.
“Pogi naman si Empoy, hindi na kailangan paghandaan yun,” he added.
The Barker which is under Viva Films is the third movie of Shy this 2017; she first starred in “Ang Pagsanib Kay Leah dela Cruz” and “Fangirl/Fanboy.”
In an interview with PEP.ph, Shy Carlos said that she was happy after Boss Vic del Rosario fulfilled his promise of giving her movie and television projects in exchange of temporarily stopping her studies.
According to Shy, she did not find it hard to concentrate on her acting career because she could return schooling, anytime.
The young actress is hoping that the movie The Barker will also become a blockbuster hit.
