Sidewalk Vendor Elmer Padilla Creates Superhero Miniatures Using Recycled Materials Such AS Old Slippers
A sidewalk vendor named Elmer Padilla was creating fantastic superhero miniatures using recycled materials such as old and used slippers.
Filipino people are popularly known for being one of the most creative and artistic people in different countries all around the world. They were also talented and also resourceful at the same for making wonderful artworks and masterpiece out of recyclables.
A Facebook user named Adrian Soriano Bernabe has shared the story and photos of a sidewalk vendor on the Facebook page “Guhit Pinas”. The latter was making superhero miniatures out of old and used slippers, which were supposed to be thrown in the garbage.
The vendor was identified as Elmer Padilla who has incredible skills and talent in imitating miniatures such as Transformers, Hellboy, and other cartoon characters. Padilla also created his own robot without copying any designs from other characters.
Padilla was from Catbalogan, Samar and now renting a house in Binakayan, Cavite to work as a construction worker.
Bernabe was really amazed by Padilla’s talent prompting him to take photos and share it in the social media. He was also hoping that the netizens could do something to help the sidewalk vendor who has amazing talent and skill.

“Habang naglalakad ako napansin ko si kuya pinaguumpukan ng mga tao sa imus PMI clinic sa palangke po ng imus.Guys ang galing ni kuya hangang hanga ang mga taong nakapaligid sa kanyang mga gawa. Sa pamamagitan ng mga patapong tsenilas nakakabuo sya ng mga cartoon character na robot, TRANSFORMER,E vs P,Hellboy at may mga sarili Po syang composition na robot na walang gayahan.Sana po ito Yung WAY para mapansin at makilala si kuya. Taga Samar raw Po sya CATBALOGAN SAMAR at ngayon nangungupahan sa binakayan Cavite sa kalye unse nakipagsapalaran lang sya dito sa Cavite para magtrabaho bilang contraction worker Elmer Padilla Po name nya.Nakaka amaze talaga talent nya sa pagbuo ng mga cartoon character ang galing nya mahirap Po ginagawa nya para ibenta ang mga gawa nya.Sana matulungan nating mapansin at makilala ng marami si kuya Elmer.
