Paraffin Test Of Niño Rey Boniel About The Murder Of Bohol Mayor Gisela Boniel Turns Negative

The paraffin test of the prime suspect in the killing of Bohol Mayor Gisela Boniela turned to be negative, according to PNP Crime Laboratory.

Niño Rey Boniel, a Bohol Provincial Board Member and the husband of Bien Unido Mayor Gisela Boniel undergoes a paraffin test after he was accused as the prime suspect of killing his own wife due to numerous reasons.

The PNP Crime Laboratory did not find any gunpowder on the suspect’s hands, which resulted in negative findings. Boniel was dubbed as the prime suspect in the killing, according to some eyewitness.

“So if you are really planning to perpetrate a crime, of course, you will do everything just to make sure that you will have no traces. We have eye witness and several circumstances that point to the killing,” said by Regional Intelligence Division 7 Chief PSSupt. Jonathan Cabal quoted by Untvweb.

A comparative examination will be conducted by the Philippine National Police (PNP), which will be taken from the blood sample where the mayor was allegedly shot and from the DNA sample of Gisela’s mother.

Mayor Gisela’s remain was allegedly thrown off Caubian Island after she was murdered, according to some witnesses. Her remain is yet to be recovered by the authorities.

The authorities are now searching for personal items of Bien Unido mayor, which Niño Rey Boniel allegedly ordered his driver Edgar Tapere to dispose the items.

Cabal also said that they do not yet have an idea regarding the contents of the mayor’s belongings. As of now, his men were already retrieving the items such as nature like clothing and other objects.
