Megastar Sharon Cuneta took to social media right away to correct the information spreading that she is allegedly HIV positive.
SHARON CUNETA – The megastar reacted to the rumors spreading that she is positive in HIV or human immunodeficiency virus, she corrected the wrong information through her social media account.
The reaction of the artist was reflected on her Facebook account through a post to clarify the allegation and rumor and it says:
“Uunahan ko na kayo para po aware na aware na kayo at pakipagkalat na din po na may biglang suddenly widowt eyni warning ay MERON DAW PO AKONG HIV!!!
SANTISSIMAMADREDESANAMAGANNAMAN nanang ko po!!! FAKE NA FAKE PO ANG NEWS NA YAN! Kung meron po talaga akong HIV, ang ibig sabihin lang po nito ay I am HUNGRY sa kakadiet, but I am ISLOWLY becoming really VERY sexy again! HAHAHA! Joke! Pero puede ring hindi joke. Basta po yung may sakit daw po along HIV is SUPER FAKE NEWS. God have mercy on the souls of those responsible for this horrible “joke.” Uuy…excited ako makita ang punishment ni Lord sa inyo! Yehey! Ang inaapi ay pinagpapala! Yahoo may blessings na naman along parating dahil sa kasamaan ng ibang tao!!! Teynk yu po! Mabalos.”
Clearly, the artist became one of the victim of a fake news.
Although joking in her clarification statement, it’s so obvious that the star was horrified by the fallacy of the news spreading.
But then again she had clarified it all and from the megastar herself, she is not positive to that kind of disease for it was stated on post.
Fans and followers of the actress and the singer was also horrified and was in rage because of the fake news.
One fan even stated in the comment section, “That is so beyond below the belt. Your weight loss has nothing to do with HIV. I am pretty sure. The real secret to losing weight is shedding bucket-loads of tears and according to your posts you have shed gallons and gallons lately.”
