The ‘Blue Whale’ online game allegedly has a great impact to players.
BLUE WHALE – An online game called ‘Blue Whale’ allegedly triggers people to take their own lives.
Recently, lots of news reports were sparked by the so-called ‘Blue Whale’ online game which reportedly has negative and dangerous impacts to teenagers and people playing it.
Based on a recent news report in The Sun, it is believed that there are people behind the game and these administrators gives daily challenges to their players. The said challenges include watching horror movies during the unusual time of the day or night and harming one’s self.
According to the report, the people running the game reportedly tell the young players of the game to take their own lives on the 50th day.
The NSPCC expressed that youngsters should always keep in mind that they should not be forced in doing an activity that might not be safe for them.
Based on the news report, the police authorities are investigating a series of incident in Russia wherein people took their own lives. The authorities fear that the online game might have something to do with it.
Meanwhile, its link to the several tragic incidents has not yet been confirmed.
The report cited several cases wherein youngters reportedly harmed themselves as they tried to take their own lives. The incidents include two school girls identified as 16-year-old Veronika Volkova and 15-year-old Yulia Konstantinova who died after jumping off a building.
The report stated that two young boys were detained by the authorities after they allegedly took a record of the scene wherein the two school girls jumped off a 14-storey apartment block.

Indeed, this is something that people should be aware of. Whether this game really has something to do with the deaths of the youngsters or not, we are given a warning not to be forced to do things that will harm us.
