Gian Sotto defends father from bashers who still continues in criticizing father about ‘na-ano lang’ issue.
GIAN SOTTO – Son of Tito Sotto, Gian Sotto, defends him from the people who is still not over yet from the ‘na-ano lang’ issue.
In an Instagram post of Gian Sotto in his account, he stated that his father had made a mistake but it does automatically and necessarily means that he is already a bad person.
The Quezon City Councilor broke his silence and speaks up.
He stated that as much as he wanted to stay silent, the hurtful words and criticisms being thrown to their family is what made him speak up for he cannot take it anymore.
His father had already issued an apology, based on the previous report about the controversy thus, making their family conclude that through it, people will be able to move on from the joke of his father.
According to his post, he indicated, “Nobody is perfect. Lahat po tayo nagkakamali. But, he is the best husband, father and grandfather, and I thank God for him everyday. And this is why I’m speaking up.”
He even added that he will forever honor his father. He even defended him more by stating that it was not his fathers intention to ‘offend or insult anyone’.
The younger Sotto admitted that he has siblings and friends who were single parents that’s why they can’t judge or underestimate the capabilities of them.
However, he trusts that God knows what’s in the heart of his father as he said those and he knows that they could surpass this issue in time for they have the Almighty with them.
But there are still netizens who took their stand about the issue of whom believes that his father shouldn’t have brought up the joke amidst the serious and solemn area.
Many issues arose about the senator including those from the past. Clearly, the people is still not over with the issue.
