The self-confessed leader of the DDS expressed that it was SPO4 Sonny Buenaventura, the longtime aide of then-Davao City Mayor Duterte, who provide them the money to purchase guns.

SPO3 Lascañas, according to the news report, said that in killing their targets, firearms which have no license are being utilized by the members of the DDS.

According to the retired police officer, his first kill was unintentionally done. He was a cop who is new to the field right then and he was after a snatcher.

Based on the report, SPO3 Lascañas claimed that Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, who was still a fiscal during that time, helped him as he was sued for reckless imprudence.

Reportedly, it was just recently when the retired cop laid down his claims and pinned down Pres. Duterte. He claimed that it was the then-Davao City Mayor who ordered his group to kill Jun Pala.

According to SPO3 Lascañas, Mr. Duterte was very mad to Pala during that time as he always attacks him in his radio station. Moreover, he said that P3-million were given to his group for the order.

Meanwhile, based on a previous news report, one unnamed source has reached out to Maharlika and said that Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV and the members of the yellow paid the retired cop to speak against the Chief Executive.

Based on the report, SPO3 Lascañas was already paid a total of P50 million and would be paid another P50 million in case he would be able to speak again in the Senate.

Furthermore, the unnamed source also claimed that the testimony of the retired cop regarding the death of his siblings are not true as it was the police who killed them as they were involved in drugs.
