Weird Fish Caught In Romblon
Fishermen in Alcantara, Romblon were shocked when they caught a weird fish in the ocean, the photo of the weird fish went viral in the social media.
The weird-looking fish caught by fishermen of Romblon is rare and some of them believe that it’s either a newly discovered species and endangered species. This types of sea creatures were very rare because it can be mostly found on the deep.
The fish was caught last Wednesday morning (February 01, 2017). The weird fish was spotted around their boat so the fishermen decided to catch it, according to Tokloy Mayor. The species was suspected as an “Armored Sea Robin,” which belong to the peristediidae family of scorpaeniform fishes.
Last 2014, a fisherman in San Andres, Romblon also caught an armored robin. In 2015, another armored sea robin was caught in the oceans of Antique.
Some netizens also find that the fish looks weird and conclude that the signs of the end are already near. They also expressed their uncertainties of what might happen in the future.
Netizens were amazed on the weird-looking fish. It looks like a combination of fish, shrimp, and crab. Some of them also say that this types of sea creatures should be immediately reported to BFAR for identification.
