A unique Christmas gift will be given by the House of Representatives to the Filipino people, especially those who call for the revival of the Capital Punishment.
The members of the House of Representatives plan to approve on third and final reading the bill that pushes for the revival of the Capital punishment in the Philippines, before it goes on Christman break.
The bill for the revival of the Capital punishment is the priority measure of President Rodrigo Duterte who has always threatened to get rid of the criminals.
According to House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez, the House of Representatives would work to approve the state-sanctioned ‘finish’ of drug and heinous crimes convicts.

Speaker Alvarez said that the House plans to leave it up to the executive branch to set the method for executing hardened criminals.
“I don’t know with the Senate, I don’t control it, but as far as the House is concerned, we will approve it before the Christmas break”, according to Cong. Alvarez.
