Despite her fame all over the Earth, 2015 Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach chose to blow her 27th birthday cake candles in a little corner of Metro Manila for a simple and private gathering.
The now 27-year old Cagayan de Oro beauty joined the simple party with her closest friends including her celebrity best friend, Pauleen Luna Sotto.
According to sources, Pia celebrated her birthday at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) with her mentor Jonas Gaffud and fellow beauty queen and 2014 Binibining Pilipinas International Bianca Guidotti.
Pia also once again had a chance to talk face to face with Maxine Medina, Philippines’ representative in this year’s Miss Universe pageant.
Miss Universe 2016 is set on January 30, 2017 and Pia is going to pass the crown on her successor in her homeland.
