Marcos’ Burial At The ‘Libingan Ng Mga Bayani’ A Disrespect To History?
Marcos’ Burial – A group of anti-Marcos activists led by a running priest named Fr. Robert Reyes made a protest as a call on the Duterte administration who is planning to allow the burial of the late dictator, President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. at the Libingan ng mga Bayani.
In a report by Interaksyon, the group led by Fr. Reyes composed of martial law victims Claimants 1081 and Sanlakas members came together to make a protest discouraging Duterte’s early statement that he approves the burial of the late dictator.
“Pangulong Duterte, sana po’y igalang niyo po ang kasaysayan. Hindi po pwedeng baluktutin, hindi po pwedeng manipulahin ang kasaysayan at sasabihin nating tulad ng naririnig natin, yung madalas kay Bongbong Marcos, “The best thing that ever happened to my country is my father.”, Hindi po totoo yun,” said Reyes in an interview.
[President Duterte, please respect the history. History can’t be bent nor manipulated and say just like what Bongbong Marcos always say, “The best thing that ever happened to my country is my father.” That’s not true.]
Reyes expressed the message of the group saying that “only the true heroes” must be laid to rest at the Libingan nga mga Bayani and “fake heroes” must not be let in and are prohibited.
Reyes added that the group that’s with him is the said group of people who earlier came to put stones with the names of Martial Law victims to show their opposition towards Duterte’s plan.
Before, Duterte already said that he is okay to approve the burial of Bongbong Marcos’ late father at the Libingan ng mg Bayani. The new President and Senator Marcos are known to close to each other.

No way! There is no place for a former dictator to be buried in the libingan Ng mga bayani! It will be a big insult and desecration to all those soldiers who fought for our country with dignity but not a despot dictator who killed and tortured a lot of Pilipino. Marcos the dictator enriched himself and his family out of the Pilipino pockets that causes a lot of misery and up to now the debt that this family squandered during their terms was horrendously big and up to now the interests of this debt were still paying it! No to the burial of the dictator to LNB ! Never again for any Marcos to rule our country!
Am 64 this year and was an active anti Marcos as KM Kabataang Makabayan. Was a victim of Marshall Law but it does not follow that it was because of Marcos. 1081 was not perfect especially with Enrile as Administrator n FVR as Metrocom n PC Chief. But it prevented us from becoming Communists. Ninoy was going g around schools then inciting rebellion and brainwashing us through nationalism via Communism by their “Teach ins” Marcos formed the ASEAN to fight Red China and his first members were Korea, Vietnam, Singapore and of course the Philippines. Almost all our neighbor countries became Communist but not the Philippines and Marcos was called strong man of asia. Is not that something to proclaim Marcos a hero? What made Ninoy a hero? He was arrested for the crime of Treason just like his dad Benigno Sr who collaborated with the Japanese. I was KM Quiapo Chapter under Joker.

He should be burried because he deserved it …he serve his country likewise, his country men. Among the President of the Philippine he did lots to the people, schools, roads, bridges, foods are abundant of affordable prices, build hospital ..the heart ang lung health Centre, economy is far good and we’re next to Japan during his regime.
