According to the report of Rappler, producer Cameron Mackintosh was amazed by Esang.
The Victor Hugo novel-based play is presented live at the “The Theatre at Solaire until May 1, 2016.
Meanwhile, Esang is set to play young Cosette on April 8 and 9 run-through of the musical.
Esang will perform “Castle On A Cloud” on the play. Little Cosette lives with Monsieur Thénardier and Madame Thénardier while her mother Fantine (played by Rachelle Ann Go) works to support her.
On her “The Voice Kids” journey, Esang impressed the crowd with her small-but-terrible performances including her rendition of “Home” from The Whiz during her blind audition which stunned her coach and “Les Mis” alum Lea Salonga who even dubbed the 8-year-old girl as her “mini me”.
Esang made it to the grand finals along with Reynan dal Anay, Sassa Dagdag and Elha Nympha, who won that season.
Esang first caught the attention of many after she joined “It’s Showtime” competition, “Mini Me” where she made an impression of Lea Salonga.
