The rivalry continued between two of the country’s largest TV network, ABS-CBN and GMA-7 but during the Saturday’s program of both the Kapamilya Channel and the Kapuso Network, both network claimed that they dominated the ratings.
In the social media world, GMA-7 ruled it over as the famous AlDub love team dominated the Twitter trending topics on Twitter worldwide with more than 25 million tweets while It’s Showtime only managed to more than 6-7 million tweets.
In the TV ratings game, ABS-CBN claimed that they still dominated the Saturday’s show with their MMK getting 31.9 ratings, which is slightly higher compared to Eat Bulaga of GMA 7 which garnered 30.8 ratings based upon the results released by Kantar Media.
The rival of Eat Bulaga, It’s Showtime garnered 22.5% ratings which is slightly higher compared to their previous ratings.
Meanwhile, based upon the AGB Nielsen Mega Manila ratings on Saturday, Eat Bulaga dominated the ratings game as it posted a very impressive 45.7% ratings compared to 11% for It’s Showtime.
AGB Nielsen also reported that in terms of nationwide TV ratings, 37.2% ratings which is still higher compared to the ratings of It’s Showtime at 17.4% nationwide.
