Forbes 2014: Top 50 Richest People in the Philippines (Complete List)

Forbes Magazine released on Thursday, August 28, 2014 the list of Top 50 richest people in the Philippines for the year 2014 naming mall magnate Henry Sy as the country’s wealthiest.

The Philippine’s Retail King dominated anew the elite list of the richest personalities in the country with an estimated net worth of $12.7 billion which named him as the nation’s richest for the 7th year.

Asia Brewery and Fortune Tobacco owner Lucio Tan was placed on the second spot with his $6.1 billion net income followed by port and casino magnate Enrique Razon Jr. with $5.2 billion.

Andrew Tan, the front-runner of Alliance Global Group Inc. which runs the Emperador Distillers Incorporation clinchingon the fourth spot with an estimated $5.1 billion net worth.

Cebu Pacific’s John Gokongwei, Jr. landed on the fifth spot of Philippines richest with $4.9 billion net income while construction firm owner, David Consunji places sixth with $3.9 billion net worth.

Metrobank’s top-honcho George Ty was placed on the 7th spot with $3.7 income while Aboitiz family headed by John Ramon Aboitiz places on the 8th spot with $3.6 billion.

Jaime Zobel de Ayala, the chairman emeritus of Ayala Corporation placed No.9 in the list of Philippines’ richest with $3.4 billion net income.

Tony Tan Caktiong, the owner of Philippine’s largest fast-food chain, Jollibee and other franchise of Greenwich, Chowking and Pizza was named as the 10th richest person in the Philippines with an estimated $2 billion net worth.
