The San Mig Coffee Mixers and the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters will start their best-of-three title series after each team managed to score a win on their previous games. The Game 3 of the PLDT Home TVolution Commissioner’s Cup finals will be held at around 8:00 tonight at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

During the Game 1 of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals between San Mig and Talk ‘N Text, the Coffee Mixers won first blood despite the fact that they came from a hard-earned finals berth against the Air21 Express. San Mig defeated Talk ‘N Text with the final score at 95-80 and ends the Tropang Texters’ 13-game winning streak.
On Game 2 of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals, Talk ‘N Text bounced back and defeated the Coffee Mixers with the final score at 86-76 with the leadership of FIBA Asia’s best point guard Jayson Castro who scored 30 points featuring his best five three-pointers.
In Game 3 tonight at the Smart-Araneta Coliseum both teams are determined to secure a win to have an edge over the opposing team and go ahead with an advantage of ending the series in Game 4.
With Tropang Texters victory in Game Two, they were able to tie the series of the best-of-five PLDT Home TVoluion Commissioner’s Cup finals at 1-all.
