The latest movie from Star Cinema titled “Starting Over Again” already crosses the P300-million mark after 12 days of showing in various theaters nationwide. The movie features Piolo Pascual and Toni Gonzaga on their on-screen tandem after years of absence.
The movie income of “Starting Over Again” was confirmed during an exclusive interview with Iza Calzado on “Buzz ng Bayan” episode on Sunday, February 23, 2014.
The movie which is directed by Miss Olivia M. Lamasan is projected by some entertainment writers that could break some of the Philippines most popular and highest-grossing movie not only for the year 2014 but also for the all-time box office record.
Iza Calzado thanked everyone who supported the movie as well as those who are still planning to watch the movie which is still showing nationwide in various theaters aside from the international screening.
The movie Starting Over Again tells about the story of Piolo Pascual who played the role of Marco as college professor whose girlfriend Ginny played by Toni Gonzaga, left the professor without saying goodbye.
The 31-year-old Iza Calzado on her part played the role of MarcoVillanueva’s new partner named Patty de Guia.
The movie already surp(–foul word(s) removed–)ed the some of the all-time highest grossing Pinoy Movie of All-Time, such as the “No Other Woman” who earns 276.39 million.
