TYPHOON “YOLANDA” HAS MAINTAINED ITS STRENGTH AS IT APPROACH THE CALAMIAN GROUP OF ISLAND.
Location of eye/center: At 4:00 PM today, the eye of Typhoon “YOLANDA” was located based on all available data including Mactan Doppler Radar at 115 km west of Roxas City or over the water off the western coast of Antique. (11.4°N, 121.7°E).
Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 215kph near the center and gustiness of up to 250 kph.
