Darryl Shy performed the song Balita as popularized by Asin, one of the most popular song in the Philippines which was also recorded by coach Apl de ap internationally.

According to Coach Sarah, Darryl’s rendition of the song, is also the first song that Darryl made a connection between the heart and his music to the audience. Couldn’t agree more. Darryl was the best there was on stage last night. But coach lea’s decision was affected by Mitoy’s previous impressions over the public. Maybe Lea was scared of criticism and decided to stay with the flow of the status quo. But looking at all the comments there was, not just in this site, Darryl was the real star of the show. Anyway, he doesnt really need the judgment of his coach to pursue a good career. He is one great artist who will reach a very long way ahead. And I’ve gone through the shows pictures. When Mitoy was announced as the winner, Darryl stood there, hidden from the audience still smiling with a light heart. He is a man of both talent and humility. God bless you Sir Darryl. I am a fan of Mitoy but it was Darryl’s performance na nanaig ngayong gabi. It was not only judged by Apple and Bamboo but the peoples vote as well.

Just a reminder for miss lea who i respected most among coaches. Is there a pride if rada or mitoy wins in this competition?this 2 talented person can win whether there is lea or not , i remember what you say to darryl during the blind auditions na sasabihin mo lang ang katotohanan. Can you speak in front of God and in front of the barrow public, that you do what is right? I hope you do what is right. I just want to remind you po, a coach is very far from talent manager. If kimpoy or darryl wins, you are a coach but if mitoy or rada wins ., you are talent manager. Lastly, maybe mitoy wins but not 60/40. Yet the public speak the other way around. And its the truth.

I have watch Mitoy and his band many times, at least 3-4 x a year in Resort World when we visit Philippines. We also have the privilege to talk to him 1 time during a break. First of all, he has a very good heart and extremely humble. I love how he sing any type of music, and he is very talented. I could agree that some of the songs don’t match his voice, but he is definitely a good well-rounded professional singer. He can sing different genre, and he can perform well. Morisett is really good too. I think it will be a very good competition at the end. Win or lose for Mitoy, he already made it.
Darryl Shy sa own taste ko in that particular performance night. I understand that Mitoy is more of entertaining people because he is doing that in his job. But akala ko kasi boses ang labanan at sa gabing yon, nangingibabaw ang boses at puso ni Darryl. I swear it is affecting my interest para sa show as sa susunod na mga live performances.
