The PBA Governor’s Cup will open tonight, August 14, 2013 as they will features their respective imports, some of them played already in the PBA while there are few individuals who will be making their debut in the PBA.
Here’s the list of official imports of PBA Teams for the Governors Cup:
1. San Mig Coffee Mixers – Marcus Blakely
During his last season with B-Meg he averaged 22.4 points, 13.4 rebounds, 3.3 (–foul word(s) removed–)ists, 2.7 steals and 2.6 blocks. Marcus Blakely lead the Llamados all the way to the finals but failed short in Game 7 against Rain or Shine.
2. Rain or Shine Elasto Painters – Arizona Reid
Arizona Reid showcased his dominant form for the Elasto Painters two seasons ago, the Elasto Painters almost made it to the finals but injury hobbled Reid in their final games. Although the team failed to win the championship, Reid was awarded as Best Import for the Governors Cup 2011.
Last year, Reid was replaced by Jamelle Cornley who also won the Best Import Title and lead the Elasto Painters all the way to the franchise’s first finals appearance and first title. With the unavailability of Cornley, Reid returns to Rain or Shine.
3. Air21 Express – Zach Graham
Zach Graham carry the heavy scoring load for the Express last season, he averaged 37.6 points per game on excellent 40% shooting from beyond the arc. In one of those games he exploded with a total of 51 points against the Powerade Tigers.
4. GlobalPort Batang Pier – Markeith Cummings
Cummings is an undersized power forward during his college days but he was solid scorer down low, using his quickness to get to the rim against bigger opponents. The 24-year-old’s current stint in the PBA is his first trip as a professional basketball player.

7. Alaska Aces – Wendell McKines
8. Barako Bull Energy Colas – Mike Singletary
9. Ginebra San Miguel – Dior Lowhorn
10. Petron Blaze Boosters – Elijah Millsap
