“Water for Elephants” isn’t just an upcoming film for this year 2011, for as those who knew Sara Gruen, it is but a historic novel and the #1 New York Times Best Seller last year 2007.
The story is told of the memories of the “ninety or ninety-three year-old” man named Jacob Jankowski who lives in a nursing home. In his memories, he was once a twenty-three years old veterinary student at Cornell University; but had decided to quit schooling when he received the news that his parents were killed in a car accident. Leaving his hometown, Jacob found himself in a circus named The Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth.
There, he was hired to care for the circus’ animals and eventually feel in love with the star performer of the circus named Marlena, who already has a husband named August, who is the head animal trainer in the circus. Jacob’s life got twisted when he planned to kill August to take Marlena with him.
The story climaxes when several workers of the circus released all the animals in the circus.
This movie is worth a wait while fans of Twilight are waiting for it’s last episode, the “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn” because Robert Pattinson will lead the main actor with Academy Award winner, Reese Witherspoon as her leading actress.
