Explosion in Fukushima nuclear power plants have been reported by NHK. According to Japanese officials there are several workers who have been injured. It was reported earlier that the cooling system have encountered problems. The Tokyo Electric Company have confirmed that four workers have been injured.
There were no immediate confirmation from the officials of the Fukushima nuclear power plant whether the building that have been caught on fire housed the nuclear reactor.
After the reported small amount of radioactive materials that have already escaped into thin air, speculations of possible m(–foul word(s) removed–)ive radioactive elements were feared by the Japanese people. They were just slowly recovering from the devastation brought about by the earthquake and tsunami.
Meanwhile the Kyodo News Agency have reported earlier that the radioactive leak did not pose an immediate threat to the people but the explosions now add enough tensions to the residents.
Japanese TV footage of Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant in Fukushima have shown a damage building and m(–foul word(s) removed–)ive smoke were spewing out of the plant.
The possible damage caused by radioactive elements were the primary concerns of the personnels who are doing their best to prevent a much larger catastrophic event.
