Natalie Portman Wins Oscar for “Black Swan”

Best Actress Title for the Oscar Academy Awards was given to the 29-year-old Natalie Portman on Sunday for her excellent role as ballerina in the film entitled the Black Swan.

The name of the Israeli-American actress dominated in the Oscars when she was recognized to claim the prestigious title.

The success of the film Black Swan was the good outcome of Portman’s thorough training. Spending at least five hours each day, Portman was able to squeeze more of her talent with the span of six months. Darren Aronofsky directed the film Black Swan in which Portman played the lead character.

It has been reported that the discussions took almost nine years before the project was finally pushed through. The taping of the Black Swan began in 2009.

In the film, Portman was able to play a dual character, one that is seemingly insecure while the other is a demure person. The show also depicted scenarios how rivalry and jealousy took place in the field of professionalism.

Accumulating total ticket sales of not more than $200 million, the film Black Swan had proven to surely conquer the taste of the audience worldwide.

Everyone were astonished hearing about Portman’s surprise that she was pregnant and will soon marry a gentleman she met while on the set for the Black Swan.

Looking back in 2005, Portman likewise received an award in the Oscar from the film Closer because of her supporting role. Vying for the Best Actress award were the nominees namely Nicole Kidman, Annette Bening, Jennifer Lawrence and Michelle Williams.
