MRT to File Charges Against Junk Collector for Stoning Train

A junk collector responsible for stoning the train of Manila Metro Rail Transit would face corresponding charges and penalties.

Nowadays, the rate of criminality not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world continue to increase. Poverty and other person reasons become the major factors why people commit crime.

The Philippine government and the authorities were taking necessary actions to reduce the rate of criminality but crimes are still happening behind the knowledge of the police force.

An unidentified individual threw hard objects into MRT train, which causes damage to the window and injuries to some passengers. The incident happened between Taft Avenue station and Magallanes station.

A 52-year-old male passenger suffered wounds after the stone thrown by the suspect hits his head. He was rushed to the nearest hospital for immediately treatment and medication.

The suspect has been arrested at a construction site in Taft Avenue. The culprit’s name has not yet revealed. According to the Department of Health, the culprit was a junk collector around the area.
