Jameson Blake’s Personal Background

Born on June 17, 1997 in Hong Kong, Jameson Blake’s real name is Jameson Andrew Blake. He was born to an American father and a Filipina mother, Clarissa Gibbs. The young actor is second among three (3) siblings – he got an older brother and a younger sister. However, his parents separated.

The father of Jameson stayed in Hong Kong after the separation. Together with his mother, he flew to the Philippines where he now has a progressive showbiz career.

The first television appearances of Jameson were in TV commercials. He appeared in the TV commercials of Jollibee, Bingo cookie sandwich, and Coca-cola. In 2015, he audition for the ABS-CBN reality program Pinoy Big Brother and was chosen to be part of the Regular edition’s second leg.

It was on day 81st of the regular edition when Jameson entered the PBB house. However, on day 112, he was evicted. Meanwhile his eviction from the PBB house did not stop him from pursuing a showbiz career. Later in 2015, he became part of Hashtags, an all-male dance group that was launched in the Kapamilya noontime variety show It’s Showtime.

The said dance group became another chance for several showbiz aspirants to enter the field. One of the other members of the group was Ronnie Alonte.

In 2016, the movie 2 Cool 2 Be 4gotten got Jameson Blake as part of the cast and he was awarded as “Best Supporting Actor”. Since then, projects kept coming his way. He was also part of the 2018 Kapamilya TV series Ngayon at Kailanman which was top-billed by Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.
