Alden Richards showed determination in this physical challenge
Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards shared his thoughts on the recently concluded triathlon relay.
Alden completed his first-ever triathlon relay at the BYD Ironman 70.3 Davao. He finished the race as the cyclist on his team with vlogger Wil Dasovich and entrepreneur-social media personality Nico Bolzico.
Previously, Nico shared a post saying that he wanted to apologize to Alden for underestimating him. Alden is one of the busiest actors nowadays, with teleseryes and various showbiz projects. Nico admitted that at first, he was apprehensive about Alden’s ability of if he can face the physical challenge of training, especially when the competition comes.
However, Alden has proven that he prepared for the competition, and Nico is proud of him for showing more than what was expected of him.
A week after the competition, Alden Richards shared an Instagram post reflecting on what had happened.
“It’s been a week, but some moments stay with you. The early mornings, the doubts, the push to keep going… and the people who made it all worth it,” the Kapuso actor shared.
Alden also thanked his teammates. The Asia’s Multimedia Star said that the words from Wil and Nico meant more than they knew, and he was proud to have done the race with them.
He also thanked his coach for believing in him and helping him get the starting line ready. For Alden, the presence and guidance from his coach were a big help for his victory. The actor also showed appreciation to BYD. “Proud to be part of something that stands for progress and sustainability beyond the race,” he added.
Alden Richards admitted that he thought this would not happen. “There’s a different kind of pride in completing what once felt impossible but with the right team, a fixed mindset and a clear goal…limits doesn’t exist. Here’s to more…see you on the next,” the actor said.
