Teacher Allegedly Gives Student Failing Grades For Being Not Able to Bring Gallon of Paint

Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro – A teacher allegedly failed her student for failing to bring a gallon of paint in Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro.

A Facebook user named Cindy Apaap has shared the card of a student who gets failing grades from their school teacher. The post immediately spread like a wildfire online and elicits comments from the netizens.

In the photos, it can be seen that the report card is full of erasure after the teacher allegedly changed the grade of her students to 70. The teacher seems to change the grades after the student failed to bring a gallon of paint.

Due to the incident, the student failed to enroll in grade 6 and did not take the report card. Apaas also questioned the teacher’s inappropriate action. The teacher also changed the report on attendance and learner’s observed values.

The incident reportedly happened at a public school in Brgy. Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City.

However, Cindy did not disclose the name of the teacher. Currently, the public is waiting for Vice President and Education Secretary Sara Duterte’s response regarding the incident.
