4 Suspects Arrested by Police Authorities in Manila Over Robbery Charges

The police authorities have arrested four suspect during a police operation in Manila for robbery and snatching.

Nowadays, robbery has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in various regions all around the world. Some criminals have no choice but to commit crimes due to lack of job opportunities.

The Philippine government is implementing stricter policy but the crimes continue to exist behind the knowledge of the authorities. The rate of criminality continue to increase despite the stricter rules and regulations.

The cops arrest two male suspects in Balut, Tondo for snatching a mobile phone. The culprits were working at a fish port and have no choice but to engage in illegal activities due to addiction to gambling.

Meanwhile, two other suspects have been arrested for a carnapping case and violation of anti-fencing law. The suspects have a standing warrant of arrest. The CCTV footage captured one of the suspects stealing a motorcycle in a parking space.

The cops first arrest the suspect’s live-in partner and the buyer of motorcycle. “Naiwan po yung susi sa motor tapos kinuha po ng kinakasama ko po, nandoon po ako hindi lang ako kasama sa pagkuha dahil nakabisikleta po ako noon,” the suspect said.

The buyer explained that the woman sold the motorcycle without documents. “Sabi nila may papel daw po, tapos nung kinagabihan hinanap ko na yung papel tapos wala silang mapakita, tinago ko na po yung motor kasi naisip-isip ko na carnap to, hindi ko na po ginamit,” the latter explained.

The authorities have warned the public to take good care of their valuables and to be more aware of their surroundings to avoid falling into those schemes.
