PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (April 16)
The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the country will have a fair weather condition except for rains brought by the northeasterly surface windflow and localized thunderstorms.
On Saturday (April 16, 2022), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The northeasterly surface windflow and localized thunderstorms will affect the country’s weather condition.
PAGASA reported that the Northeasterly Surface Windflow will be affecting Extreme Northern Luzon. It will bring Partly cloudy to cloudy condition with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Northern Samar.

The localized thunderstorms will also bring similar weather condition over Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will also experience the same weather condition.
The weather agency has also warned the public of possib;e Possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms due to Northeasterly Surface Windflow and Localized Thunderstorms.
The coastal water condition over Northern Luzon will be moderate to rough. The rest of the country will have a slight to moderate surrounding sea conditions
