Vice Pres. Sara Duterte Claims Marcos Jr. Admin Allegedly Wants Charter Change
SARA DUTERTE – The Vice President claimed that the Marcos Jr. administration allegedly wants former House Speaker Martin Romualdez to be the next president.
Amid the impeachment complaints against her, Vice Pres. Duterte previously announced that she will run for the presidency in 2028. She previously claimed that she already has the blessing of her father, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

The Vice President even claimed that the former President is excited to be her number one supporter and to campaign for her in the next election. However, currently, her father remains detained under the custody of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands.
Vice Pres. Sara Duterte even believes that Pres. Bongbong Marcos allegedly committed an impeachable offense over the transfer of the custody of her father to the ICC. Amid the rift, she denied that she will be a vengeful president if she wins the next presidential race.

Recently, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte claimed that the Marcos Jr. admin allegedly wants former House Speaker and Leyte Congressman Martin Romualdez to be the next president after Pres. Bongbong Marcos. Based on a video posted by SMNI, the Vice President claimed that she was still part of the Cabinet then amid the admin allegedly wanting Romualdez to be the successor of PBBM.
“Ang gusto talaga nila is Martin Romualdez for president. Sunod siya kay BBM. Eh nasa kabinete pa ako noon. Hindi nila ako ma-atake ng diretsahan. Ang ginawa nila nag People’s Initiative sila kasi ‘yung Charter Change na sinasabi ang gusto nila doon baguhin ‘yung botohan ng Senate at ng House para mas madali maka-amenda ng Konstitusyon,” Duterte claimed.

Based on the post, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte further claimed that people were allegedly paid in the pursuit for Charter Change. However, the People’s Initiative supposedly died as several individuals were not paid and some promises were broken.
Pinapapirma sila binabayaran, hindi binigay, namatay ang People’s Initiative. Currently, two (2) impeachment complaints are being processed in the House of Representatives against Duterte while the impeachment raps against Marcos Jr. were dismissed.

Recently, the House of Representatives found the 2 impeachment complaints against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte as sufficient in substance. On the sufficiency of the substance of the impeachment raps against the Vice President, only one solon voted in the negative and one abstained.
