BEN&BEN STATEMENT – OPM band Ben&Ben releases an official statement over support for Leni-Kiko tandem without being paid.
Adding the roster of famous celebrities and artists supporting the tandem of Vice President Leni Robredo and Senator Kiko Pangilinan is Ben&Ben. They are running for the top two highest positions in the country, president and vice president, respectively.
Most of their grand rallies are filled with performances from various artists and all of them claimed that they volunteered to be present as their way to show support for the candidate they are believing in. They performed even without being paid.
And in a post, confirming their presence in an upcoming rally of the presidential aspirant in Pasig along with her running mate and also confirming their performance, Ben&Ben stressed that they received nothing monetary for payment. The band firmly stated that they will not be paid for their support.
Ben&Ben also known as The Benjamins is a folk-pop band in the Philippines. They were formed in 2015 and since then, their popularity and success continued to skyrocket. They have famed many songs and have bagged several awards like multiple Awit Awards, Myx Awards, and Wish Awards.
Their famous songs include Kathang Isip, Araw-araw, Pagtingin, Sa Susunod Na Habang Buhay, Leaves, Maybe The Night, Pasalubong, Di Ka Sayang, Lifetime, and many more.
Meanwhile, apart from famous artists, several institutions, law deans and professors, priests and nuns, top Jesuits and Ateneo theologians, former Philippine Bar Association presidents, framers of the 1987 Constitution, and former government officials, retired diplomats, former military chiefs, and many others have chosen to endorse the Leni-Kiko tandem.
