Tien Thuc Thuy Nguyen of Vietnam is Miss Grand International 2021 and here are the other winners of the pageant.
MISS GRAND INTERNATIONAL 2021 – Vietnam’s Tien Thuc Thuy Nguyen is this year’s Miss Grand International and here are the other winners.
This year’s Miss Grand International has just concluded and Miss Grand Vietnam Thuc Thuy Nguyen was crowned MGI 2021. The pageant had 60 queens coming from various parts of the globe. Meanwhile, PH’s Binibining Pilipinas Grand International 2021 Samantha Alexandra Panlilio exited the pageant early, unplaced, unfortunately.
This year’s virtual selection committee was comprised of Miss Grand International 2013 Janelee Chaparro, Miss Grand International 2014 Daryanne Lees, Miss Grand International 2016 Ariska Putri Pertiwi, Miss Grand International 2017 Maria Jose Lora, and Miss Grand International 2018 Clara Sosa.
During the top five finalists question and answer portion, the candidates were asked: With the current world situation, there are many problems such as Human Rights, economy, viruses. If you were to choose one person to discuss these problems with you in order to make a change, who would you choose and why?
This is the winning answer of Vietnam’s delegate who eventually took home the highly-coveted title:
“If I have the chance to choose the one I would speak to, I would like to say thank you to the one who invented AstraZeneca (vaccine) she doesn’t need the money from the invention license. And I was thanks to her and to all people to know that I feel grateful because of her. Sometimes you need to do the good things but don’t get the credit for it. Thank you.”

- 2nd runner-up: Lorena Goncalves Rodrigues, Brazil

The virtual show was hosted by Matthew Deane and it was shown on Grand TV’s YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram channels. For next year, Jakarta, Indonesia will be hosting the pageant on October 25, 2022.
