According to the previous story, Alcantara and his wife were on their way home from the market when traffic enforcer Domingo stopped them and allegedly checked for the motorcycle rider’s license and registration.

Alcantara agreed to have his motorcycle impounded at first, but the enforcer allegedly tried to grab his motorcycle key. The enforcer handcuffed Alcantara after he refused and argued.

As a result, the victim’s wife pleaded with the enforcer not to handcuff her husband because of his heart condition, but the enforcer apparently did not listen until the rider died of a heart attack. The cyclist was taken to the nearest hospital, but medics ruled him dead on arrival.

Domingo was caught and imprisoned facing homicide charges. However, he was released on bail a few days later and re-ordered traffic in the barrio.
